Lavender House is a lovely traditional stone house located in the Anjou region of the Loire Valley. It is set in a peaceful location surrounded by beautiful vineyards and countryside. The accommodation comprises of a large open plan dining kitchen and sitting room with a log burner. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms (1 double and 2 twin), a shower room and additional wc. Externally there is a private enclosed garden with decked pergola, small games barn and private parking. It is thought that Lavender House dates back over 200 years. During the restoration process we have tried to modernise the space whilst retaining some of the original features. Ground Floor - this large sociable open plan space encompasses a lovely well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, vitroceramic cooker with 4 rings and combined oven / grill and large fridge freezer. There is also an electric kettle, toaster and coffee machine. Additional coffee pod (Tassimo) machine is available on request. Adjacent to the kitchen is the panelled dining area with a farmhouse table and 6 chairs. On the other side of the ground floor is a cosy sitting area which can comfortably seat up to 8 people on 3 sofas. The main feature is the large stone fireplace (initial basket of logs included) with log burner - ideal for the colder months. There is a 32 inch television with French and English channels, Netflix, a DVD player and internet radio. A circular staircase leads to the first floor where you will find exposed beams and polished wood floors. There are 3 bedrooms - a double and 2 twin rooms each with a chest of drawers and hanging space. There is a newly fitted shower room with large shower enclosure with rainfall shower, toilet and sink. Adjacent is a separate additional WC with toilet and sink. Outside there is a private enclosed garden laid mainly to lawn. It features a little games barn with an exterior fireplace / grill as well as a decked pergola with sitting area. The parking area is at the end of the garden.
