Only positive things to say about our stay. Maggie & Josh were very welcoming, super easy to communicate with and gave great recommendations. They live right upstairs so they are always a text or call away. Their unit was just perfect for my family with 2 little kids, more than enough space and free of clutter. They were stocked with everything you could need for a long stay. We felt right at home and never wanted to leave! The neighborhood was beautifully lined with trees, lots of food places, coffee shops, parks for the kids and so much more. There is a subway station super close walking distance that will take you straight into manhattan. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for that NYC experience.

Maggie and Josh have a beautiful, well appointed garden apartment in their charming Carroll Gardens brownstone. It was modern on the inside and on one of the loveliest streets in Brooklyn. We spent a month there to explore the area and assist our son and daughter-in-law who live a few blocks away and just had their second child. We had a ball, being so close to the kids, and walking everywhere. There is anything you need within close walking distance--multiple restaurants, bakers, coffee shops, groceries, pharmacy, even the PT that my husband used. The subway is a couple of blocks up the street. We took the F train into Manhattan and were on 42nd street (Grammercy Park, Broadway) in 20 minutes! We left our car home and never missed it. (and I was excited to learn that you can now use your cellphone credit card as a subway card--so easy). As owners they were immediately responsive by text to any questions or needs. We were very comfortable there and sad to leave.

Maggie and Josh were very excellent hosts and very friendly We really enjoyed our stay at their place, and since day one we felt right at home and fell in love with the neighborhood. We strongly recommend their place to stay if you want to stay in NYC.

We had a fantastic experience staying in this this lovely apartment in the very lovely Carroll Gardens area of Brooklyn. Maggie and Josh made us feel very welcome and we’re consummate hosts attending any issues and generally offering as much help as they could during our stay. The apartment has got really nice atmosphere and it’s really well equipped - we fell at home quickly. A fantastic array of restaurants, coffee shops and shops nearby, so lots to explore in the surrounding area before you even venture further afield. All in all highly recommended.

A great neighborhood (safe, clean, lots of great bars and restaurants plus close to the train!) and very responsive hosts! The space is a good size, the kitchen is lovely and it’s clear Maggie and Josh put care and thought into equipping the apartment with lots of nice amenities. Easy to work from home, even for two. Also having your own washer/dryer is amazing in NY! Just a few small things to be aware of: As a ground floor unit there’s v little natural light plus you’ll want to keep the curtains closed for privacy from the street and to prevent the dogs from barking in the yard. The noise from upstairs with 5 people and 2 pets is understandably very loud and will be a built in 6:45am alarm clock every weekday morning. Lastly the bathroom is very narrow - fine for me at 5’5” but this would definitely be something to consider for taller or larger folks.
