Traditional farm in a small safe village just 10 minutes from Rio Negro and 25 minutes from Medellin Airport. Over 3 acres of lush farmland for you to walk through and enjoy. Bus and taxi service available at your front door. Working wifi in every room of the house. 3 Bedrooms, two of the bedrooms have sliding floor mattresses + private bathrooms. Full kitchen for you to use including fast-cook appliances. Outdoor bonfire, BBQ and plenty of picnic areas to enjoy. No pets at this time. The space if a rustic feeling traditional "finca", which in Spanish means country house. Every room of the house is very spacious, with wifi and easy access to bathrooms. Two of the rooms have private bathrooms. The other shares the social bathroom. This is a true country house with chickens and fruit trees growing for production. You will love the view of the mountains and waking up to see the birds and cows wandering around.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Finca la Bonita!! The surroundings are just beautiful and its definitely a place to relax away from the busy cities. We loved to explore the surroundings and even got to pick our own avocados from the trees to use for breakfast! The communication with the host and the lady for the keys was great. Both of them answered super quickly and we could ask them any question regarding the house, our stay or activities to do. Lasty the customer service was excellent, Albeiro helped us with any wish we might have for our stay and there even was a welcome package with water and snacks when we arrived!! 10/10 would recommend to stay here!
It is a beautiful place. Watching the birds while having coffee in the morning was surely a highlight. It is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend.
Nice little farm, big comfortable house, really caring hosts, this place has a lot to offer
We had a great stay at Anthony’s avocado farm. It has everything you need in terms of the comforts of “a home away from home”: hot water, laundry machine, strong wifi, cable tv, a fully stocked kitchen, and lots of space indoors and outside to work, hang out, or relax. It’s super private and quiet. Anthony is an excellent communicator. He was always ready and willing to help! He was also super open to suggestions for improvement which makes him a SUPERhost in our books! If you don’t have a car, make sure you get all the groceries you need in advance if you’re planning to stay for a while. Rappi delivers food to the cottage but if you’re looking to cook and in need of anything, a car (or motorcycle or bike) is necessary. The cottage is pretty secluded and isn’t really walking distance to any shops or restaurants. We fell in love with Chloe, the resident pup who stole our hearts! She truly made the stay even better!!!! Thanks again for everything Anthony!
Anthony was incredibly accommodating and responsive. The finca was incredibly beautiful and near enough to Rionegro to purchase groceries and explore the lively town. I will absolutely be coming back!

Only 5 minutes from Rio Negro city, you are just one quick taxi ride away from visiting an authentic Colombian up-and-coming city. Rio Negro is the new "Medellin", a quieter and more laid-back version but with many things to do such as museums, restaurants, bars, shopping, malls, cinemas, and a large modern public square where farmers markets and artisans markets often take place.
During the day it's very accommodating and friendly. At night it's best to be with people that know the area as some parts of the city can be unsafe for foreigners at night. Basic common sense as in any part of the world when you travel is best.
Our guests are important to us, so we're delighted to offer private transport to get you where you need to be - MDE airport, Rio Negro (or neighboring towns), Medellin and more.
Within walking distance, there are also buses and taxis available, with a bus stop at our front door for very cheap (less than $1 to ride the bus).
