Amazing place, like staying at a friend's immaculately clean mansion. Beautiful super large room. King sized bed was comfortable with great pillows. Very quiet. Wasn't sure about the area as I was looking for the home but when I turned the corner I was amazed. Plenty of great parking and the stay was quiet. Nice bit of breakfast was available in the morning. Would definitely stay again if I needed to be in Vicksburg overnight.

We’d go back again in a heartbeat. The site is a century old mansion, restored with modern amenities, without losing the old elegant feel. You’ll have the run of the house, and Elizabeth keeps the butler’s pantry (which is also used for excellent breakfast) stocked with snacks, beer, and soft drinks for guests to enjoy. It’s nice to kick back and enjoy a cold one while reading a book on the porch, in a parlor, or on the balcony. It’s just a few minutes from the interstate, from Downtown’s excellent restaurants, and from the Battlefield national park. Not every house in the neighborhood is as well tended or cared for as Elizabeth and her husband, supervised by their dog, SlimJim, have kept theirs, but I walked a lot in the surrounding area, and never felt a moment’s concern. And the room was huge, with a big TV and a comfortable bed. Elizabeth has gone the extra mile to assure that your stay is relaxing and comfortable.

My husband & I are beyond thrilled that we found Elizabeth’s place. Oak Hall Bed & Breakfast is gorgeous, from the historic architecture to Elizabeth’s impeccable eye for decor, it was absolutely stunning. Elizabeth and her sweet pup Slim Jim met us upon arrival with a friendly smile, warm welcome, and great suggestions and answers to our questions. Our room was perfect and the bed was super comfy! A close walk or bike ride to downtown Vicksburg (We did both!) with restaurants, diners, cafes, shops, galleries, and so much amazing architecture and history to explore, this stay was easily one of our favorites. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I loved this historical and grand home. This was an overnight stay to break up our drive from New Orleans. We have already started planning a trip back as a destination. It is amazing!
