It was a beautiful place. The resort area is calm, quiet, and relaxing. The unit was nice, and we enjoyed our stay. We really only had two issues. The first issue that should be described better in the listing, is that the beach is not accessible directly from the complex during high tide as the water comes up over the beach access staircases. When the tide goes out, however, there is a nice stretch of beach, and the exposed sand bars and shallow areas are really cool. The second issue was the golf cart. This is a golf cart community. Everyone has a golf cart here. This listing said it came with a golf cart. The title of the listing started with the words, "Golf Cart Included". When we arrived, there was no golf cart. The management company insisted that the cart was parked in our space, but it wasn't. They should have known during the make ready that the cart wasn't there. We wasted a day trying to get the golf cart delivered. Once it arrived, the rest of the stay was ok.

The condo itself was well appointed, clean, and exactly what is described. Fripp Island had a ton of activities for families and was a great place to relax. We loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. The only thing I would caution is that the booking is not finalized until you sign a contract, outside of the Airbnb platform, with Tidewatch Vacations. Activity cards, golf cart rental etc. are also booked outside of Airbnb and require a credit card directly to Tidewatch. I don't think there was any issue with it, just wished it was obvious prior to confirming the booking in the Airbnb app.

The unit was very nice - great view and very clean. It has everything you need for your beach stay! I was surprised by how many kitchen appliances there was (and they all looked new and very clean). My favorite was the stand alone ice maker. The master bedroom is downstairs and there are two large bedrooms upstairs along with the laundry room and full bathroom. It was nice to throw our 5 teenagers up there (and their mess). The location was great - close to beach access and easy parking. Our only complaint is that we paid for the golf cart rental to be told it was not available as we were parking to check-in. I understand things happen - but I feel like the rental agency should have been more proactive in helping us find a replacement. We were refunded but had to spend several hours trying to find another one available.

Amazing apartment, clean and just a few meters away from the golf course. Communication was very efficient. I highly recommend Tidewatch vacations rentals in Fripp Island.

this place was perfect..it had everything you need and more. convenient to the pool and just a short golf cart ride to the beach. it was clean and spacious. we would definitely come back!
