Our camping experience on Bob Trank’s gold mine claim property was a good first experience for us new to Airbnb. The trip there was scenic and the property situated on lots of beautiful, private, open and wooded countryside. Although a challenge getting into the site with our low clearance car, we enjoyed rockhounding, finding neat quartz rocks and seeing and hearing the many birds . The June temperatures were in the low hundreds, but the Feather River was nearby, so we had a fun time floating to cool off. Bob was a very pleasant host, offering to help with anything we might need for our stay. His clear driving directions and communication were much appreciated throughout the entire booking, checking in and stay. We are looking forward to coming back and will try out staying at the Trank’s RV camp site on another area of the property.

Bob was awesome! Met us right after arrival and gave us the rundown on everything. The kids loved the animals and walking through the property. We were there much, spent the time and the lake, but what time we had there was great!
