I was worried the photos would be better than reality - they're not. The castle is magical. It's everything I hoped it would be and more. I brought my husband and teenage kids, who are all very hard to please, and all of them loved it. We spent more good, quality family time together over our 3 days there than we have in months. We went off roading in my husbands Bronco through the mountains and around the castle during the day and nights were spent in the solarium. It's incredible during the day - insane at night. Nigel gave us a lot of advice on where to go and what to see - he was great. Ask him anything and he'll tell you. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would go again.

This was a true adventure! We were a party of 7 and for some of us the Hard Luck Castle was on the bucket list. This is such a unique place, an experience you can probably only have in Nevada. The castle is both quirky and impressive and the vistas are hard to beat. Next time I will make sure to book around a new moon so that we can enjoy the stars. Nigel took us to the castle and made sure we were well taken care of and knew how to be warm and comfortable. Highly recommend this place!

This place is one of a kind! We couldn’t have been more happy with our stay. The Castle was an adventure in itself. Never before have I stayed at such a unique place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a stay to remember!

This is an amazing place. If you want a weekend to spend with friends off the grid, it really doesn't get much better than this. The location is beautiful, the castle is very welcoming, all supplies and everything you need is provided but the hosts (both Jennifer and Nigel are amazing and will walk you through each detail of the castle for your stay) and exceeded all expectations, you really have to see it for yourself the pictures don't do justice. Of course the best part was watching the stars on the top level observation deck at night, it was beautiful so many stars and meteors we had amazing skies both nights. I would recommend this to groups of friends and family and I hope to be back again some day!
