Lorraine is an excellent host and the property was extremely clean. The pet friendly atmosphere and doggie door were priceless for my fur-baby!!

Had another lovely stay at the Hermitage! Was finally able to arrive at a decent time and relax. The kitchen is full of all sorts of snacks and the house is clean and fully stocked as usual. The surroundings are very peaceful. Had my dinner sitting out back listening to nature. The pond out back has tad poles right now if you are interested in that sort of thing!

Really lucky to have been able to stay this time around. Despite having surgery, she was able to accommodate me, for which I am grateful! I have always felt at home and appreciate the care she takes with her home. It's quiet, comfortable and clean. Like a warm hug after a long drive!

Oh my gosh! What a lovely, lovely, lovely place the Hermitage was!! We are sorry we have to leave so early, most definitely need to come and spend more time here! I work for a very small order of nuns, the Little Sisters Of Jesus & Mary, I’m definitely recommending this place for a retreat house for them!! And I'm def coming back again!! Absolutely gorgeous, comfy, and so very welcoming we LOVED it!!!

This place is a very welcoming respite after a long days drive. Been stopping by here for several years and it's always been warm and comfortable. Lorraine stocks the house with everything you could possibly need. It would be a relaxing time spent if you ever got "stranded" there!
