This generational family home, built in 1921 has been recently renovated to give a cozy and relaxing cottage feel. It’s a piece of prairie living, with an enormous yard, complete with fire pit, seating and plenty of privacy. Set amidst a quiet neighborhood with easy access off of highway 2. Conveniently located halfway between Calgary & Lethbridge. Stop for a quiet retreat or a single nights rest. Read a book in the well-lit reading nook, and feel free to use the outdoor book library. The ample sized kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to feel at home. Enjoy takeout from many fabulous restaurants in town, from local favorites more with local tips in our easy to navigate guidebook. Enjoy the yard, patio area and fire pit with an amazing view of the stars.

The home is tastefully done and very clean and well organized. It’s within walking distances of stores and parks. The home feels very safe and private and is well equipped. We lacked nothing while staying and the home was so peaceful.

What a beautiful place. Totally matched the description. Chandra thought of everything. Every detail like extra batteries beside the remote; microwave popcorn in a cute bowl near the tv. Spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. This is such a cute town.

We stayed at Chandra's place for a week when my son was getting married. The house is very clean, cozy and is renovated/decorated very nicely. Beds were comfortable. Nice linens. Stocked kitchen. I would definitely stay here again.

Centrally located in Claresholm, AB. the Bamboo Bomber is a quick walk to downtown with local shopping and parks. Utilize the 3 bicycles or take a short drive to see the sites.
Nearby enjoy shopping and sightseeing with antique walks, Candy Store, Bomber Command Museum of Canada, golf course, and miniature train museum in Nanton. Equal in travelling distance is Fort Macleod with its own antique walk, golf course, historical sites and amazing Stronghold Brewery. Skiing at Castle Mountain, fishing, quad riding and hiking with day trips to Waterton, Lethbridge Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden, Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump, Franks Slide, Crowsnest Pass and easy access to the Calgary International Airport. All are under an hour and half’s drive away.
