Very relaxing and quiet. Enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking. Mas o menos is only a five minute walk and had great lattes and drinks.

We loved our stay here! The house and yard are beautiful and serene. Easy access to Joshua Tree NP as well as shops/restaurants/gas stations. Go out for some hikes in the morning/afternoon, come back and enjoy the hot tub and an outdoor dinner in the evening. Bedrooms were well-appointed with comfortable beds and pillows and all the charging ports you need. The house was thoughtfully equipped with TVs, a record player, games, books, and a full kitchen. Mel & Mike were kind, clear, and responsive. Thank you for a great stay! We would happily stay here again!

Had a short but very sweet stay at Mel and Mike's. The house is everything you could want for a stay in Joshua Tree. Clean, nicely decorated, the hosts are very helpful and give you a tray of snacks and wine which goes a long way when you've been on the road. A lot of care has been put into the house with convenient touches like extra sockets for charging near the bedside and in the kitchen. The location to the West Entrance to Joshua Tree is excellent and there's a cute little coffee shop down the road when you set out for the day. Also, for travelers with kids the house is very close to Indian Cove trail which is great for bouldering and hiking, I think that was our favourite activity while there. We will definitely book there again and thanks Mel and Mike for a lovely stay!

Mike and Mel’s place was absolutely perfect for my birthday getaway to Joshua Tree. Their home was welcoming, cozy, clean, and overall had everything we needed to enjoy a comfortable stay. The back patio was so cute and nice. Stargazing in the hot tub was amazing. The beds were super comfortable! Rain showers were hot and so very relaxing at the end of our long days hiking and exploring in the park. Cant wait to come back and visit again, thank you again for everything!
