Pierre was very responsive from the time we booked the stay to the time we checked in. Even after, we had minor hiccup with the barbecue canister which he replaced right away. They live right next to the property and are available for help. The cabins and the property itself are strategically placed around Golden lake and each cabin has separate access to the waterfront. This place would be such a great family getaway in summer. The nearby town of Killaloe has some shops, a great cafe (Engine House) and a zero-waste grocery store right across. It’s not a bustling town like Halliburton, Minden or Gravenhurst, but it has basic amenities. There’s also the native town nearby called Koko-Mish where you can get cheap gas which Pierre pointed out to us during the stay. Highly recommend this property as a summer/fall/spring getaway. I’d guess it’s pretty cold during winter with the cold winds from the lake, although could be a beauty of its own regardless.

Pierre and Taylor have clearly put time and care into the upkeep of all of the cabins and the grounds of this wonderful site. We visited during a snow storm and everything was shoveled before we woke up while the wood burning stove kept us nice and toasty throughout. We're already looking forward to our next time in Golden Lake!

My husband and I spent 2 nights at cottage 7. We had a wonderful time, Taylor and Pierre were incredible hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed, responded quickly to our messages. This location is peaceful, quiet and well maintained. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!

Cabin #7 was great, we had a small beach shared with two other cabins. Great place to lie in the sun and watch the sunset. The place was clean, functional and easy to find. Would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a few days away!

Beautiful location and the cottage was clean an modern inside. I had a very relaxing vacation on Golden Lake.
