Pontos positivos: 1) localização perfeita em todos os sentidos; 2) comunicação sempre fácil e cordial com as anfitriãs. Pontos a melhorar: 1) faltam itens básicos como suporte para papel higiênico, suporte para toalha de rosto e suporte para pano de prato; 2) o sofá está extremamente sujo - precisa de limpeza; 3) teias de aranha nos tetos da sala e do quarto - precisa de limpeza; 4) a vassourinha de limpeza do vaso sanitário está com o cabo quebrado e não é possível utilizá-la; 5) o tamanho mínimo das toalhas de rosto e mão. Com apenas uma utilização já ficam totalmente molhadas; 6) a iluminação do espelho do banheiro não foi instalada; 7) havia cabides de madeira quebrados e com pregos expostos que danificaram uma blusa; 8) parece que as anfitriãs, que são de excelente nível, não acompanham de perto a manutenção do apartamento e fazem apenas a parte comercial pois, se conhecessem, já teriam ajustado estes itens tão básicos, mas que prejudicam bastante a experiência dos hóspedes.

The location of this apartment is excellent. You are within walking distance of numerous key sites and there are many restaurants and cafes nearby. Stars deducted because: Upon booking the airbnb (where we booked for 2 adults and 1 infant) we messaged the hosts confirming that the apartment had an infant bed. They confirmed, stated an additional cost and that we would need to bring linens for the bed, and we confirmed that we wanted to book the bed. Unfortunately when we arrived the crib was not present and it seems the hosts did not understand that we had confirmed that we wanted this months before. We found this frustrating because we searched exclusively for infant related amenities in our accommodation. The crib took 2 days to obtain and we were thankful the hosts worked to get it for us as soon as possible, though I feel that if you don’t have the setup to accommodate a baby, then this should not be advertised as such. Overall the stay was okay but did not match the high price.

The location of the unit was wonderful for how we used it. I felt like it gave us a good mixture of what the city of Paris is like without being in the middle of a tourist district. We were able to walk to many of the main Paris attractions within 15-30 minutes. The apartment is close to the Metro if you prefer to take the train with reasonable ease in getting to the same destinations. We are not big shoppers but as we got a feel for the city, I realized that this would be a fantastic spot if that’s your thing. The neighborhood felt safe, and the building has multiple security doors. We walked back to the apartment as late as 2AM and never once felt uncomfortable. The building has thin walls, so sound could be an issue depending on other guests in the building at the time. On the positive, there is little street noise due to the orientation of the unit. The communication with the host couldn’t have been better.
