We really enjoyed this stay. It is small but worked for the 2 of us. Was clean but a little outdated. The lake is close and the fishing was good. We would stay again just for the quiet!

Description is accurate, but I didn't recognize the very limited / partial kitchen when I booked it. I did figure it out beforehand, so packed a campstove and set up shop under the gazebo and on the picnic table. Worked well enough in cooler/spring months. Inside area is quite small, but I like the location. Short run to some fishing spots I favor. Host is very responsive, helped deal with cranky gatekeeper at the neighborhood boat ramp.

The cabin was perfect for our desire to see the Total eclipse of the Sun. The beautiful surroundings and the large upper deck of the dock was perfect. The cabin is somewhat small and it took some planning for food with the limited kitchen amenities, but we made it work. We really enjoyed kayaking in the lake. Thank Hazel for being a great host!

Rented the small casita for my husband and I. Beautiful view! The main house is pretty close- there weren’t guests there while we were there which was nice for privacy. Hazel was responsive and very nice.

Perfect little get away for me and my husband. Loved the dock! Was cool underneath to escape the heat and the top was awesome to lay and watch the stars come out. The lake environment came complete with a stray friendly little kitty. Can’t wait to plan a trip with all of our adult kids to stay at the bigger house.
