This is a lovely cosy space with 2 bedrooms that sleep up to 5 people. 2 bathrooms will ensure you won’t have to wait. The living room has air conditioning and a fireplace with firewood supplied. Has TV with Netflix. It has a full kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full sized fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee pod machine. It is situated in Stanthorpe, an easy walk (7 mins) or drive to town, where there are numerous cafes and shops to explore. The Garden Suite is one of 3 units in an old Queenslander that was converted to flats in the 70’s. We’ve owned the units for 14 years, as an investment, while living in Brisbane. We fell in love with Stanthorpe during our visits and retired early, to make Stanthorpe our home, living in one of the units. After much hard work renovating, we now Air bnb one flat from June to October and we rent to seasonal workers during the summer. We are loving this life and are meeting the nicest people during the process. The Garden suite has a main bedroom with a Queen bed and an ensuite. It has an oil heater and electric blanket to keep you nice and warm in our cold winter weather. A quality mattress and bedding will ensure you have a good nights sleep. The ensuite has a walk in shower, hand basin and toilet. The second bedroom has a double and a single bed, also with quality mattresses and electric blankets. The main bathroom is close to the second bedroom and has a bathtub with shower, handbasin and toilet. We have instantaneous gas hot water so it never runs out. The living area has a lovely warm fireplace with plenty of firewood supplied, to keep the whole place nice and cosy. Don’t worry, we have warm air conditioning too, if you don’t like the fire or it goes out on you. A smart TV, complete with Netflix and some board games will keep the kids and adults entertained. The kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a full sized fridge, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, crockery, cutlery and cookware. We’ve included tea, coffee, milk and some pantry staples for your convenience. A dining area is located adjacent to the kitchen. There is also an outside bbq area for your exclusive use. This area is near the garden and a lovely place for a cuppa on a sunny morning . We have off street parking for 1 car and quiet street parking for extra cars if required. We have a communal laundry with 2x washing machines, an outdoor clothesline, and an indoor clothing rack, iron and ironing board. A laundrette is in town if you need a drier. The house is conveniently located close to town, just a 7 minute, easy, concreted walk or a couple of minutes drive. There are numerous cafes in town, so you really don’t need to cook at all. Winery tours are a great way to visit the area without the worry of driving. They will collect you right from our driveway.
