Both Mike and his barn are fantastic. From the outset he was a great communicator. As a host he was super; he was attentive and flexible. On arrival we were greeted with fizz and fruit juice, there were fresh eggs in the morning and he did magic tricks for the kids. The barn was brilliant. It's so very spacious, the kitchen is amazingly well equipped, the whole barn is well heated, and the fire (which Mike had prepped) is wonderful. The gardens and wildlife are lovely too. The swimming pool and hot tub are worth a visit alone, with inflatables, a water slide, jets and a swing over the pool. I have three very happy children and we were all genuinely sad to leave.

Mike’s airBnB is amazing. Me and my friends had an amazing time, the pool facilities are so fun and the barn and estate is beautiful! Despite how amazing it is I still think the USP of the place is Mike himself, he is a phenomenal host and made us feel right at home, we can’t wait to return! Thankyou!

We loved staying at Mikes place. The barn is beautiful and well looked after. The kids loved the peacocks, chickens and Mikey and Jess the ducks not to mention the magic tricks and fish food provided by Mike. Jessica took her fish feeding duties very seriously every morning. The swimming pool is amazing we couldnt get the kids out of it. We'll definitely be back to visit soon.

Just home from a lovely little break at Mikes place. Everything was clean, very spacious and beautiful countryside surroundings. Only 10 mins from Knowsley safari park and St Helens but lovely and quiet. The pictures don’t do it justice! We had hours of fun in the pool and hot tub. Can’t wait to return.
