We had a group of 10, 5 couples. We all felt the picture’s that are in this Airbnb site doesn’t do justice. We were thinking from the pictures that it might be on the smaller side. That wasn’t true. Kitchen, dining room, living room is a lot bigger than we were expecting from the pictures. Very clean and comfy warm feeling home, with an amazing view. We really liked the setup of everything. Jane was very responsive when I had asked about a dishwasher and we were happy to see the coffee set up, as we all had forgotten ground coffee. They had everything well stocked. Very nice home and close proximity to everything in Door County. Thank you for having us!

Our family of 10 had a great time at the house. We used the firepit and the beach. It is a great location for restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. The house was well kept and clean. Plenty of outdoor furniture on decks to enjoy. Fantastic view of lake from main window in living room. There is also a separate little sitting room downstairs with TV and record player. I highly recommend staying here.

Bauer’s Lodge was a perfect spot for our family vacation. Kangaroo Lake is gorgeous and the clear, sandy spot is perfect for swimming and enjoying the SUPs.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous, quiet location. As a group of eight women, we were equally impressed with the cleanliness, attention to detail, well-appointed linens and very comfortable beds. The great room/kitchen/dining area is just spectacular. We ate most meals here, and had EVERYTHING we needed. The coffee ‘bar’ was a particular favorite. We are grateful our gathering was in such a wonderful spot.

The Bauer Lodge is a great place to relax by the fire after a long day of exploring Door County. The house is spacious, well stocked with everything you need and true to description. If you enjoy cooking your own meals, the kitchen has everything you need for cooking and prep, all within an awesome space, complete with giant island. All the bedrooms are spacious, close to bathrooms and the beds extremely comfortable. The home is warm, cozy and inviting. The location is excellent, close to everything, but tucked away if you prefer to get away from the crowds. Jane was an excellent host, quick to respond to questions and checkin/checkout was a breeze. We would definitely stay again.
