We had a lovely time relaxing at the lake. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Would stay again when visiting the area. Thank you!
We arrived to this house. There was cash on the counter and laundry left in the laundry room. Automatically giving the impression that a cleaning service never happened. After about an hour of moving in, we found filth throughout the home, and stove burners do not work properly and the handle on the oven falls off when pulled. This is a gas range and highly unsafe for adults let alone our 2 year old that is here. We reached out to the host at this point and they apologized for the inconvenience. Next, In the guest restroom, there is urine from the previous guests, and the shower drain was fully clogged. We reached out to the host again, who sent a girl to move the laundry, spray disinfectant, and move the cash left. The girl did not come equipped to clean, nor was under the impression that the home needed a deep cleaning. She relayed to the host that the guest bath needed a plumber, and the urine remained in the bathroom. We ended up leaving to another Airbnb property after two days
Great place on the water. 10 minutes from town. Very easy to communicate with, gets back in timely manner with questions. Will go back.
We rented Montgomery’s vacation home as an alternative to a motel to stay at while in town for my son’s wedding. We didn’t use any of the outside amenities due to running around for the wedding and the uncooperative weather. As for inside, it was everything we could ask for, clean and comfortable. It was a great place to spend some time with my son, his lovely new wife, my daughter, and my grandchildren as time allowed. We only wish we had more time and better weather to enjoy the outside also. I’m sure anyone would enjoy that as much as inside. Host was very responsive to my inquiries. Thank you, Montgomery, for making our trip a very memorable one.
