Nice, spacious, warm, clean, super quiet and well-equipped house. The location is amazing. We hiked in the Nelson lakes National Park and we were happy we stayed there. Don’t be tricked by some negative reviews about sandflies. There are plenty of those flies indeed but the house has nets, Lesley, the host, provides very detailed instructions how to protect yourself from those and if you are careful enough you won’t get bitten. It has nothing to do with the house. It’s the nature and this place is for those who are ready to embrace the nature with all its pros and cons.

Great holiday home, with interesting wildlife to watch through the windows. They weren't kidding about the bugs but we came prepared. Nice walk up to the river and down to the lake. Lovely quite place to spend a few days down time. Instructions were comprehensive and easy to understand. Good sized house and secure yard perfect for families.
