The location was perfect for visiting Colorado Bend State Park. We were really close to the park. The nearby general store was convenient. Beautiful drive to get there. It was easy to find. The beds were so comfortable!
Wonderful place! We had such a great time. It was super easy to get in and exactly as described. The House: The house is large and comfortable with plenty of spots to sleep lots of people. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials, a/c worked great, bed was comfy, and we loved being able to access the water and go fishing! The Area: Just down the street is The General Store which is a fun little spot with basic groceries, and a beer garden in the back with yummy food, a stage for live music, and even a little above ground pool where you can sip a beverage and watch the goings on :) not too far away is the town of San Saba where we got a birthday dinner at Pecan House Grill. The food was great and the atmosphere perfect for our celebration. Colorado Bend State Park is just minutes away from the house so there are plenty of outdoor activities. All around a great spot for a low-key and relaxing weekend getaway!
Cozy & quaint with lots of windows & porchs for river views. Many amenities included. Extremely comfortable beds in the bedroom.
The house was adorable, comfortable and a great location. It was so tranquil and beautiful all around! We were SO close to Colorado Bend park and really not far to San Saba for groceries. We lucked out with some cool, clear weather so was perfect for a long, relaxing weekend get away!
Nice quiet spot right off the river. Only about a 10 minute drive to the state park. All the amenities we’d need. Lots of space and easy to find.
