On the ground floor, there’s a well-appointed kitchen (with not just one, but two ovens!) as well as a sleek dining area with seating for up to twelve. From here, the door leads out onto a secluded private courtyard with plenty of seating and a handy outdoor shower - perfect for summer morning pampering or to wash off the sea salt after a long day of sailing. Also at ground level, there’s a restful living area with plump, bouncy settees, a Smart TV and sailing-inspired wall prints. Climbing up to the first and second floors, guests will discover the six tranquil bedrooms (each named after J Class yachts) - including two inviting en-suite master bedrooms. There are also two rooms with adult-sized bunk beds (handy for the yacht crews who often come to stay) plus, the four zip-and-link doubles can easily be converted into twins on request - making the accommodation here incredibly adaptable. Under the sloping ceilings of the top floor, there’s a further lounge, flooded with sunlight and boasting far-reaching views across the masts and rigging of Cowes Marina. Taking the door to the rear, you’ll step out onto The J House’s fantastic roof terrace, which, with glimpses out to deep blue waves of the Solent, makes for a pretty unbeatable space to relax in.
