We had a great stay at Patricia and Steve’s cottage. The location on the river was perfect for launching canoes and the sunsets were spectacular. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and very well-equipped. The hosts were very accommodating when we had to change our plans unexpectedly and provided excellent communication.

Patricia and Steve’s cottage was perfect for our family gathering. Check in was easy and the cottage really has everything you could ever need or want. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans and the all the extras. The bedrooms and bathroom were clean and had nice linens and towels. We used the BBQ outside as well as the fire pit. There are plenty of chairs outside to enjoy the yard and sunsets and even play some yard games. We also rented a pontoon boat for a day from Long Island marina which is close by and Patrica and Steve recommended which was really fun and easy to arrange. It is very easy to drive to Kemptville….it’s about 5km away….and Kemptville has all the stores you would need….LCBO, beer store, grocery store, Walmart etc. We really have no complaints about this property. The only downside is not being able to swim from the dock but we knew that in advance of booking. We would absolutely rent this cottage again!

The cottage is a great location - close to Kemptville and Osgoode which is what we were looking for. The kitched was well laid out and all the cupboards and cabinets had descriptions of where everything goes - well organized. We did not stay as long as we would have liked owing to a event that caused us us to leave a day early. All in all a great place. Good evening views of the Rideau!
