Built in 1646 from meteorite stone, La Terrasse du Citron is a stylish and perfectly located gite at the foot of the Rochechouart chateau, nestled on the edge of the countryside in the beautiful Perigord-Limousin Natural Park and just 15 mins from the lovely Charente leisure lakes. A charming 55 sq.m house with free parking and wifi, a private terrace, sleeping up to 4 and just a few mins walk from the wide range of shops, bars and restaurants of the historic town of Rochechouart. We purchased our historic gite at the beginning on June 2021. We then spent our time making it look beautiful, enhancing the charm and character of its interior, and transforming the terrace to a bright, vibrant outdoor space perfect for eating, drinking and relaxing. Perfect for one or two adults, or a family of up to four with children, the bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, the sofa bed in the lounge is a small double for one adult or child, and the kitchen/diner has a small day bed option for a child if required. The maximum number of guests we can welcome is either two adults and two children, or a party of three adults. The bathroom was newly installed in 2021, and much of the interior space is freshly and stylishly decorated, designed for convenience and comfort.

Petit logement sympathique avec cour intérieure, (agréable pour les repas). Nous avons passé une semaine sous la canicule ! Mais le logement est tres frais, vu l'épaisseur des murs! À deux pas du centre-ville, bien pratique pour les commerces. Hôtes tres sympathiques , écossais d'origines. Je recommande vivement. Pascal

Ancien logement très bien remis à neuf : confortable, propre, bien aménagé et équipé. Ville très agréable où l’on trouve tout ce qu’il faut. Hôte disponible et sympathique ! À recommander.
Lovely historical Gite in walking distance of the Rochechouart castle! The flat had everything we needed and was a great spot to start our running, cycling and hiking trips from! Thanks, Heather and Tony!
From the moment we booked our stay in Heather & Tony's Gite we knew it was the perfect fit for us. We received all the information, and more. We have a 5 month old baby and worried before leaving Ireland about noise / walking but I can honestly say the Gite was like a home and away from home. The location was within walking distance to Rochechouart centre which has everything you need. The Gite itself was spotless, not a thing out of place and we were welcomed by Heather's home made shortbread and a lovely bottle of wine. We felt at ease from the moment we arrived. We would have no reservations regarding recommending not only the Gite but Heather and Tony as hosts as there wasn't a message left unresponded too. Thank you H&T for allowing us stay at your gorgeous Gite. We look forward to coming back on our nxt trip to Rochechouart ❤️
