It’s a good place to stay, but be aware that you will have to walk 5 flights of stairs with no elevator. Keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage like I did lol. Also the other people living in the building smoke so expect to smell cigarettes when exiting the airbnb into the stairway.

if you need a place for a few days this is the right spot for you. I stayed here for a month and after a while it felt a bit claustrophobic. it’s not a super homey or comfortable place but has all the necessities.

I was in NYC for a month-long clinical rotation in Brooklyn. Decided to stay in Manhattan to experience the city, and I'm so glad I chose this flat. It was a 10 minute walk to the subway I took Brooklyn everyday, and I always looked forward to the walk and the sites/smells along the way. Favorite things about this stay: location, cleanliness, safety, and the laundry service. - Location: library across the street, coffee shop/bakery down the street, close to Brooklyn, SOHO, little Italy, a short train to central park, museums, etc. - Cleanliness: housekeeper is amazing. She cleans the bathroom, empties the trash, sweeps on a daily basis. - Safety: As a female solo traveler, I never felt unsafe walking in the area or going to/from the flat, even at night. - Laundry service: I chose to pay $10 cash/week to have my laundry done. Incredibly convenient. The housekeeper even folded the laundry and washed my bed linens 2x during my stay (no charge). if it's winter, bring your warm PJs!!!
