It is a great place to stay if one wants to be away from the hustle and bustle of the cities and towns. Very private and secluded. Quality amenities and very clean, well maintained. We saw some Kangaroos hoping across the field while driving upto the cottage one night and saw one the following morning in field just a short distance from the cottage. Place to be if one is looking for some peace and quiet to just relax and recharge. We really loved it there and would not hesitate to stay there again if we are visiting Mudgee region.

Stunning well renovated house on a beautiful property just out of Mudgee. Loved the amenities and the property had everything you could think of needing. The beds were comfortable and had electric blankets which came in handy on the cold nights. Cute kangaroos were often seen on the property in the evening and morning which was great. Highly recommended this property.

This was our second visit to Bowness Cottage and we enjoyed it even more than the first one. Location is very quiet and peaceful. It’s a short drive to town or the local wineries and the cottage is well appointed if you prefer to stay in. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back again.

Stunning location and really well set p. Little kids play climbing hut with a slide in the garden and kids cutler and travel cot. One room was huge and the other two good sizes. Beautiful grounds and we saw lots of kangaroos. Perfect stay and would definitely book again

We have stayed at multiple farm houses, with this stay being the best. Great location with beautiful views, surrounded by Kangaroos and birds, spic and span property with top of range furniture. Strongly recommended.
