As the years pass, time begins to move faster, and we recognize the need to slow down and enjoy time with our loved ones. Our stay at the Hobbit House was nothing short of magical. Nestled snugly in the hills, this cozy Hobbit hole provided the perfect space to relax and unwind. It was everything we imagined it would be. The hosts have thoughtfully curated this home with all the amenities you could possibly need while on vacation. It was a unique & welcoming experience that I would not hesitate to book again.

I have spent the past six months staying in unique and interesting air bnb’s across the country. This month in particular I staid in four different hobbit houses. Tom and Cheryl’s place was the first and in all honesty I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy this one as much… The pictures don’t do it justice. It turned out to be not only my favorite of the hobbit houses, but quite possibly my favorite stays thus far, with some stiff competition. Everything about the place was amazing. Its huge, had all the amenities and comforts of a home, and every detail was custom made and full of thoughtful intention and creativity. Nearly every piece of furniture, decoration, etc was customer built or restored by a renowned artist or craftsman. Its always cool to see a place like this, but the hosts tend to be so invested in the property that it can be hard to relax. Tom and Cheryl have created an impressive and valuable home where all of their investment is to enhance the experience of the guest(s).

Cheryl was extremely accommodating. Best Airbnb host we ever interacted with. They thought of everything including making Lembas bread and snacks since they knew we had kids and even corn for the deer. They thought of everything! It’s incredible how our host thought of EVERYTHING! Beautiful Shire and property and themed Lord Of the Rings and The Hobbit!! Wish it wasn’t so far from home or we would come multiple times a year.

Our family needed a common place to stay for a wedding in NW Arkansas. The house was better than advertised. Everything was exactly as described plus a few surprising touches that made us feel right at home. Peaceful, serene, calm, welcoming and fun; those are the words that best describe our experience. Tom and Cheryl were friendly and attentive hosts. I would highly recommend the Hobbit House to anyone who wants a great experience in an AirBnB even if you are not a Lord of the Rings fan. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed.

What a nice place and nice area! We loved the uniqueness of the place. Our boys just thought it was so awesome. All the little details and thought that you put into it really make a difference. It’s tucked into a nice beautiful area with River views… yet it was easy access to Fayetteville. Thanks again for everything and making sure that we were comfortable and set for our stay!
