We had a great stay! It was the perfect location for out weekend up north.

The setting was nice, but this place is very overpriced. Pretty much a old hunting cabin on a lake, very un-kept and run down. The place hasn't changed a bit for the last 30 years. And we rented the pontoon, which was a mistake, it's as old as the cabin, basically a wood raft with a motor, also very un-kept and it broke down on us and we had to get towed in from across the lake by another pontoon. They replaced it not with their nice pontoon but with another equally as old and one that had no gas in it so we didn't dare really go anywhere. The neighbors informed us that he had rescued their pontoon multiple times that year already. Why would they keep renting this out to guests? And we brought our dog and as the host was getting us our other pontoon, he spotted a dead squirrel in the yard and didn't pick it up. I just thought that was odd. Just writing this so somebody else doesn't hope on a beautiful weekend up north and pay around 700 and get treated this way. Save your money.

The surroundings are beautiful and we had a blast catching fish. Felt like being at someone else's grand parents place. I've never experienced a pontoon boat with a self made wooden floor before. Beds were uncomfortable and the lack of a dishwasher would be the downfall. Overall a great experience for my hubby's Birthday. His folks stopped by for an eveing of fishing and we made great memories! Thank you for opening your home to us! We are incredibly grateful for this slice of heaven!
