The Naval cottage is very spacious and well appointed - two large bedroom each with their own bathroom, plus a large lounge area and a large kitchen and dining area. And a very nice outdoor space with a stone fireplace and seating. The property is about a 20 min walk from the waterfront in Rocky Harbour where the main restaurants are located, but it is close to the EV charger which is what mattered to us! All in all this is a great place for a family or two couples to stay for a visit to Gros Morne.

I recommend the Anchor Down Suites. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Vera is an outstanding and friendly host keeping of supplied with daily freshly baked treats and great recommendations for things to do and see.

Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special ….. loved the freshly baked goods we received along with important staples like coffee, tea, coffee cream and fresh water.

This place is a charmer. Large and privacy between the bedrooms. Personal attention from hosts! Fabulous gardens! Very artistic touches in all suites.
