Chris + Agnes' home was a great weekend escape and launching point to the Adirondacks! Chris + Agnes were very responsive and gave us great recommendations for many things in the area. I really loved that their home was close to a private lake with easy access and two kayaks to go into Loon Lake whenever we wanted. It was also a great spot to hang out on a picnic table and watch the sunset. One of the top reasons to rent was the hot tub and it was really clean and easy to use. It snowed before we arrived and the driveway was perfectly plowed and allowed us to park two cars in their driveway with ease. The house is about a 30 minute drive to Lake George, but it is more situated in nature and very private. It is a perfect house if you are looking to hike, relax, and be in nature while not being far from great restaurants. We didn't ski, but it is also close to Gore Mountain so it has a lot of appeal for all seasons. The house was nicely decorated and looked exactly like the pictures.

We had a lovely stay at Lazy Loon Cabin - cabin is compact and comfortable, and a great, convenient location for skiing at Gore.

The home was very cozy and had everything we needed and hoped for. We had absolutely no issues but it was lovely of Chris to check in during our stay. He also communicated all the details so we were set with check in/out and using any amenities.

The house was great for my group's needs. The hot tub, living room/dining room and kitchen all made for great hang out spots. One thing I did not realize when booking is the bunk beds seem more child sized (shorter and smaller) than for a teenager or older, as well as the limit of how many vehicles are allowed on the property. The house was clean, location was great, and use of the laundry room was perfect, would definitely recommended this house to rent.
