Kim and Ken are wonderful hosts. They go above and beyond to welcome you and make you feel comfortable. We appreciated that we could bring our dog. We had a great time at peaceful pines and enjoyed everything the cottage had to offer. Truly a special place.

We had a really great time. Totally private and peaceful experience. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Ignore the 1 bad review…if you like a “camp” experience this place was awesome…not luxurious…exactly what we expected. Our dogs and kids had a blast. Thanks for the hospitality!

This place is an off-grid gem! The pictures do not do it justice. It was very clean, comfortable and well organized. It did take a while to heat up the water if you wanted a shower, but that’s what you get for being out in the bush and wasn’t a big deal. The privacy is unmatched. Kim and Ken were great hosts. They were so thoughtful and easy to communicate with. The lake is shallow and great for kids and dogs. We had an amazing 5 days as a family and you won’t regret booking here!

Our family of four (+ dog) had a great time here. Having your very own crystal clear lake to swim in without any other distractions or noise was amazing. The shallow, sand entry made it perfect for kids. We swam all day and relaxed all night. We took the canoe out and were able to catch both pike and perch. The cottage itself was super clean and comfortable. The location is totally off-grid (no cell reception) and you do need to be mindful of the energy you use as the cottage runs off of a generator and solar-powered battery system, but we found this easy. We loved our experience here! The kids did not want to leave!
