Host had a plumbing problem that she failed to notify me about. I found out about it when it was time to check in. She had no plumber lined up to fix it. She said place was inhabitable. I had to scramble around last minute to find a place. Then, she said she would cancel it right away- red flag- I had to get Airbnb involved to help get it cancelled 6 days later.

It was very clean and bug free, which we appreciated, in a great location to I-75. Nice place but there are some things it lacked that could be added to make it a better stay and get better reviews. There was no table and chairs to eat a meal at, there were no wash cloths at all and only one bath towel per person (2 each would have been nice and some wash clothes), no extra bed sheets, only 2 extra pillows/cases, not enough extra pillows (had to buy 4 pillow cases and use couch pillows), no trash can in bath off kitchen, not enough extra toilet paper for length of our stay, recliners on couch didn’t work right or at all (on left side), kitchen lights near fridge didn’t work making it difficult to see into washing machine after dark, beds were super squeaky and could be improved. No entry instructions given. Key was left under door mat! A lock box with a code that changes between renters and available instructions from host on Airbnb app would have been more secure. Overall, OK stay.

I really enjoyed the stay, Although I was in Port Charlotte for business purposes the stay felt very roomy and comfortable. The place was very clean and easy to access. The host provided me with good instructions on everything.
