This spacious and colourful double storey Moffat Beach home is tucked away on a quiet street, only 1km to the Beach, with a bonus park & playground right outside your front door! It’s extra family friendly with toys & games, outdoor pool for the kids & lots of dining, entertaining & lounge spaces for everyone to relax & enjoy (+ ducted AC upstairs). With 4 bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs, the house sleeps 10 people all up, ideal for a big family holiday! As you enter the home via the front stairs you’re greeted by a wonderfully open plan gourmet kitchen & spacious living / dining area, with ample seating & bench space. Towards the front of the house is the lounge area with Smart TV & seating. Relax out on the front balcony looking out across the lawn to the peaceful green park straight across the road complete with kids playground / swings & nature to explore. The gourmet kitchen opens seamlessly via large glass sliding doors onto the massive covered back deck that looks out over the sparkling private salt water pool & garden. The property is fully fenced (1.8 m high) & offers a private relaxing place to swim, dine & play. Bedroom layout - 5 bedrooms; 1 Master bedroom with a King bed 2 bedrooms with x 2 singles 2 bedroom with a Queen bed 3 bathrooms (2 as ensuite), + one extra toilet located in the laundry area. Master bedroom (upstairs): A plush King size bed, walk-in wardrobe as well as private en-suite with walk in shower and zoned ducted AC. Bedroom 2 (upstairs): 2 x Single Beds, built-in wardrobe and zoned ducted AC. Bedroom 3 (upstairs): 1 x Single & 1 King single bed , built-in wardrobe and zoned ducted AC. Bedroom 4 (upstairs): A plush Queen sized bed with built-in wardrobe, a small flat screen TV and zoned ducted AC. Bedroom 5 (downstairs): A plush queen sized bed with built-in wardrobe, plus an ensuite bathroom with toilet & shower. Kitchen - Help yourself to a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with 90cm oven, gas cooktop, fridge, dishwasher & slow cooker (great for quick easy dinners after a long day at the beach!) - The kitchen offers a coffee plunger, coffee & specialty tea (Specialty coffee at one of our favourite cafes One Block Back only 400m/5 min walk) - 4 breakfast bar stools, plus a large timber dining table with seating for x6 Downstairs: Chillout space with projector TV Driveway parking for x2 vehicles Plus internal double garage (not suitable for high vehicles) Unlimited on street parking (no meters) Laundry area with washer/dryer Extra WC A selection of kids toys available to enjoy Indoor & Outdoor Living: - Open plan living area with louvre windows & large sliding glass doors to let in lovely ocean breezes! - Smart TV with Netflix / Foxtel - Sonos speaker - Complimentary Wifi - Large alfresco dining table with seating for 8 - Ziggy Ziegler & Brown triple grill cart BBQ - Additional coffee/breakfast table outside with comfortable seating for 4 - 2 sun lounger chairs poolside - Step down a few steps from the massive covered deck to the back yard with sparkling saltwater pool. - Lush mature gardens with a large mango tree for extra shade (free fresh mangoes if you’re staying in season!) - Fire pit with seating area to enjoy cooler nights roasting marshmallows together

We had a lovely holiday! Location is great, house was as described, and Melanie and Verena are incredibly responsive and helpful hosts.
This home was amazing for a big group of people and very comfortable inside. It was also extremely pet friendly and toddler friendly- a really lovely set out. It was walking distance to the beach, good coffee shops and nice restaurants. The outdoor deck was amazing and as it rained during our time staying it made the stay very pleasant to be able to still sit outside and be undercover Overall great location and lovely stay
Lovely place and stay - heaps of space, quality linen, nice pool after a day's activities and refreshing waterfall style shower. Oven barely works though so couldn't use it to cook. Would happily stay again.

The house is 1km walk to Moffat Beach & about 600m to shops & cafes. Moffat Beach in Caloundra has a distinct vibe that differentiates it from its more famous neighbours like Kings Beach & Dicky Beach. While Moffat isn’t a patrolled beach & you’ll need to be wary of the waves, the sandy inlet of Tooway Creek offers family-friendly swimming. Dicky beach is an easy stroll across the sand for patrolled swimming between the flags.
There is also a hospital, shopping centre, library, cinema & skateparks within a short driving distance.

Airport shuttles can get you to the home from both Brisbane and Maroochydore. It is possible to get around on the local buses and use coach tours but the immediate area is best explored on foot and it would be preferable to have a car to travel further afield.
