The attic was a spectacular experience. Me and my spouse really loved the apartment and the surroundings. Bed was really comfortable and warm even though at night it was 10 degrees outside. Outdoor shower offered warm water and felt refreshing in the morning. Maisa told us in advance that she's worried about the temperature because it's already late August. We are used to camping and sleeping outside so I said it's not a problem for us. On the evening we were wearing wool shirts and wool socks and felt cozy, peaceful and relaxed.

We had a really great time at Maisa's place! It was definitely one of the most interesting spaces that we've stayed in, and we really enjoyed the experience. Firstly the space is definitely as described - it's very rustic, but also cosy and thoughtfully equipped. As mentioned in the description, the room is on the top level of a barn, which also means that it has its own distinctive barn smell (that we got used to pretty quickly). Outside of this, the property and surrounding area are beautiful and very peaceful, and we not only enjoyed taking walks and exploring, but also hanging out with the furry/feathered friends that live on the property. As a host, Maisa was super friendly and helpful before and during our stay, which really made us feel welcome. We would definitely recommend staying here for anyone that wants a peaceful getaway, and is open to experiencing something a little bit different.

Tallinvintti oli persoonallinen ja viihtyisä, huoneet oli sisustettu hyvällä maulla. Tunnelma oli rennon maalaismainen, ja pihapiirissä liikkuvat kotieläimet olivat kilttejä ja tuttavallisia. Ruokaa oli mukava grillailla ja syödä kesäkeittiössä. Kiitos kivasta majoituksesta! :)

We spontaneously stayed with Maisa for three nights. She was very friendly and welcoming. The place is very nicely located in the Finnish countryside with plenty of animals wandering around. The sauna was great as well. We'd definitely return if we're in the area again and need some peace and quiet.
