Great place to stay that’s close to all the fun areas but still private enough to relax. Mattresses were not comfortable, but that could just be my opinion. It’s hard to find a mattress that suits everyone. Home had everything you would need! Owner was great and communicated well.

I was not familiar with the Charleston area. Chen’s place is in North Charleston close to an industrial area. There were loud train horns throughout the day and AND NIGHT which I was surprised There was also a foul odor in the air due to being so close to an industrial area.Upon arrival, we got in the house easily but the door would not lock so we had to use the back door all week to go out as we could not lock the front door. We had a lot of rain during our trip so walking through the backyard / mud was fairly inconvenient. The windows are all painted shut with no way to open for breeze. There were no instructions in how to use the tv. We figured how to watch “ live tv” 4 days into the trip. This property could use an instruction manual for the tv, info on trash pick up days… we just figured it out based on when neighbors put theirs out. For the most part, it met our expectations but if I were to return to CHARLESTON, I would choose Closer to downtown or Folly Beach area.

Chen’s property was very nice. It was true feeling of home. Her communicating needed information to us was a plus. My family and I enjoyed the house. Would stay here again if available.

Chen was amazing! This place has everything you need! She was very responsive to my messages and very thoughtful. If we ever go back I would stay here again!

The house does not have exterior security cameras. I let Chen know we were coming in for a brain surgery for my daughter and that her location appealed to me because it was a "quiet" neighborhood. Crews worked from 7:30am - 5:00pm outside on heavy machinery and equipment, Chen told me she knew the crews would be there, but neglected to tell me,My daughters earplugs did not give her enough relief. The work outside kept us held up in house for 8 of the 14 days. I had to door dash and insta-cart as I could not leave due to no access out of driveway. The house got down to 62 degrees, and I could not turn the heat on. I had to reach out to owner and ask her to use her phone to turn the heat on. The appliances were not clean. There was food on floor in kitchen. The drain stopper was covered with mold, noticed by daughter as she was bathing the night prior to surgery. The shower curtain in shower were moldy. The house has soft drywall as though there is dampness. ETC.ETC. ETC.
