Our historic forester's house was built around 1902 as a forestry and agricultural house.For some time it was the seat of the operators of the chalk works. During the GDR era, the outbuilding, today's apartment house with a terrace, was built and used from then on as the LPG Poseritz's own holiday home . Since 1987 Regina Rutz was responsible for the management as an employee of the LPG. After the fall of the Wall, Rutz family took over the forester's house in Garz . After extensive renovation, the Pension Forsthaus Garz was opened. Since 2015 the further developed and renovated is Hotel-Pension Forsthaus Garz in the second generation of Ricarda Rutz operated.
