Our second year staying at the house and already booked our third year for 2024

The house and location was wonderful. Lovely grounds! Our family truly enjoyed it. However: *we were not able to open the lock box due to the code having been changed. I was informed that no other guests had ever had issues getting access but after 40 minutes in high heat/ humidity we were finally given a new code and explained that the box had recently been changed. * Upon entry, we found zero toilet paper in any bathroom downstairs. When I asked if that was a normal scenario …. The response I received was insulting. ( I have the texts) *The vents all had a disgusting amount of mold on them which was very concerning , especially traveling with children. ( we have pics which will disgust you) * Both closets in the Master bedroom were filled with clothes as were the drawers. *There was wash in both the washer and dryer upon arrival. *We sent a note saying we were departing a day early, thinking that might help them in catching up on cleanliness - but received no response.

We had a wonderful stay. It’s a beautiful home with plenty of lounging space. The views are incredible. We rented the golf cart and visited the beach at Fort Fremont. (PS if you have little ones DO NOT allow them to run ahead up the hills at the fort. There is a drop off where the cannons were hidden) we took trips into Beaufort and to Hunting island state park (pretty but very buggy when we visited end of July). I would definitely recommend and we hope to return. 😍

My family enjoyed spending a week enjoying this home and the water. The house is clean with all the amenities. The street is very peaceful and safe to walk.
