Wonderful getaway with family and friends. Martine the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. The bouquet of flowers from the garden was a lovely touch. The location is very private with an amazing view over the hills, with lots of activities. Pool covering was very useful at 20°C Normandy weather, the children enjoyed swimming without feeling cold. Tennis, basketball, table tennis, lots of indoor and outdoor toys and books to enjoy. Master bedroom, kitchen and dining area are modern tasteful extensions, rest of the house is older and especially bathrooms are dated. Shower and toilet in parental bedroom are completely open, so may not be practical to share with those using the adjoining double bedroom (one has to pass through it to access the parental bedroom by the way). Other two on the right of the first floor share a bathroom (good to know: one of them is the kids room with two single beds). Double bedroom on ground floor with bathroom has more privacy.

This house is amazing! The photos are accurate but it's prettier in reality. The house is part of a small community at the edge of a valley just outside of Chambray. Don't blindly follow navigation. The house is easy to find if you look at house numbers. It really feels like a private resort. The kitchen is excellent. The beds are fine and a lot of space to play and relax. The pool is awesome. It is covered and heated and can be opened if it's sunny. Great tenniscourt but bring your own gear. The walkway from the pool and tenniscourt to the house is steep, so take care with little kids. The wifi is not fast but enough to keep connected. The location is remote but convenient. There are many supermarkets at 20 min drive. The train in Vernon (15 min drive) will take you right into Paris in about an hour. Easy to do, and a great day out. Also nice walking and cycling options but the area is quite hilly. Delphine is a great host. Housekeeper Martine will welcome you. Highly recommended!

La maison est situé dans un lieu magnifique, très apaisant, avec un confort digne d'un hotel 3 etoiles. La piscine, la terrasse, ainsi que le tennis, sont en super etat, on profite au maximum des lieux quand on est sportif. Je reviendrai avec plaisir !

Peaceful and beautiful home in a quiet secluded valley. We spent a lovely weekend here and had a fabulous time. Family friendly with lots to do, private and very peaceful. The only comments would be our car GPS took us to a different property address initially and the mobile phone reception was limited. The host was available to help us find the right property close by. There was no kettle for hot water or microwave in the kitchen. There was a fancy coffee maker available however we didn’t feel confident to use for hot water. We will definitely recommend this property and would 100% return for a future stay.
