Alex place is a great location and nice for our family. The step takes some time getting used to but he let you know it was there. The third bedroom is connected to master bedroom which was okay for our kids. I would stay again

The location is wonderful. However, the house needs some TLC. The kitchen is simple not adequately stocked - random broken glass, pans that are bent, wrapped, wiggling handles….. The outdoor furniture is wood and falling apart and unsafe. Just a few updates would make this a much better home. Ask if these things have been done before booking.

Wonderful house in a great location. The terrace by the water super lovely. We came with my elderly mom and she found the house very easy to handle as well.

This is the 2nd time that our family has stayed at Alex’s lovely waterfront bungalow. The chic bohemian interior is very inviting and is complimented by the stunning waterfront view of the inlet. We took the kayaks out for our daily exercise, lounging on the water, and bit of fishing (not catching!). The location is a short distance to the fabulous beaches and dining on Siesta Key and equally convenient to more traditional grocery stores and restaurants off the island. Thanks again for a wonder holiday!

Idyllic setting, charming and tastefully decorated cottage. Ideally located for the beach and Southside shops and restaurants, yet incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature. Dolphins joined us when we kayaked! Alex was an A+ host, responding immediately when anything went awry. We stayed here for two months and the house is perfectly set up for a long stay. More beautiful than the photos. By far the nicest Airbnb we’ve visited in Florida.
