Repeat customer! Our second stay was just as magical as two years ago. This time we used the arcade game and the record player - super great touches. As always it was a short walk to the beach for amazing sunsets. Betty is a fabulous hostess. I appreciate the choices provided - duvets AND quilts/fleece blankets, and a French Press, Keurig and Moka Pot for coffee. This is the quintessential beach house and it is clean and beautiful - you won't regret staying here!

Every moment became a testament to hospitality and comfort. Before even setting foot inside, Betty's responsiveness to my inquiries and her graciousness in accommodating our early check-in due to our toddler's needs set the stage for a memorable experience. Self-check-in was simple. Unlike other places where the cleaning fee seems squandered, here it felt as though every cent was invested to ensure an immaculate environment, surpassing mere adequacy. The charming backyard, adorned with a swing and fire pit, provided endless entertainment during sunny days. While dining options were scarce in the vicinity, the fully stocked kitchen enabled us to craft delicious meals. Surrounded by adorable rabbits, leisurely squirrels, and melodious birdsong, every moment was imbued with serenity and tranquility, fostering a deep sense of relaxation and connection with the natural world. Betty's haven not only provided comfort but also served as a sanctuary where unforgettable memories were forged.

Absolutely fantastic stay here for a few days! We had such a blast that we extended our stay another day! The extension was done within 5 minutes of asking! Would 100% recommend this place and fully intend to go back and add some more to the record collection! If you're planning on staying in Bayfield, look no more! Book here!

Betty was such a terrific host and the Sugar Shack was such a delightful and cozy place to stay for the weekend. The family had a blast playing old school arcade games and we each had our own room. Little amenities like a hair straightener, books, great family games, snacks, a handwritten welcome note and a kid-friendly amenities were a great extra if you are traveling with a family. The full bathtub is also a great extra that you don't also find everywhere. Betty was super responsive and had incredibly clear and detailed communication. Absolutely will visit again!
