The location is excellent for getting to Goree Island and museums. There are local shops, food options and nightlife within walking distance. The building and space are secure. The room is spacious, air conditioned and has sufficient natural light. The terrace is nice for getting outdoors. I had one issue with the clogged toilet and a resulting smell in the bathroom. Because I arrived late and noticed the problem later, I had to find my own solution for unclogging and cleaning the toilet and clearing the air. I recommend the place for convenience and cost if you are on a budget. The doorman was very kind to help me find the shop late at night for bottled water. Also, take advantage of the provided mosquito repellent.

I had the absolute best time at Francoise’s. The apartment is SUPER clean, warm, beautiful and felt like a home away from home. Francoise was also very helpful with information on how to get around the city as a tourist. She was also very friendly and responded to messages quickly. I recommend her and her place for anyone visiting senegal. The apartment is in the city centre and close to many tourist attractions in the city.

The rooms are spacious (the private room w/ bathroom is huge). The art is beautiful. The layout is fantastic (kitchen bar, terrace). The amenities are above & beyond (stove/oven/microwave, WASHING MACHINE). Will come back!
