*IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A 5 STAR RESORT THEN THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. **We extended our stay because it's just that incredible & Marshall is the best host EVER! If you are looking for a place to relax, unwind, enjoy, find peace or pray then this is an INCREDIBLE place to do it! It's quiet (except for the ocean waves), safe & was exactly the distance to the water that I needed (walk downstairs to the back of the house then through a small yard & you are there). Marshall's apartment is basic but adequate. There are no bells & whistles beyond the basics but with the ocean only steps away you really shouldn't be spending a lot of time indoors anyway. It does have HOT showers w/a nice spray head. The location is about 1/2 way between Canoa (eat at Akemy one of the many simple open air restaurants) & San Vicente (Tia's for packaged food & other basics) & just a little further is Bahia with a very modern shopping mall (larger grocery/department store). If I could give 10 stars I would!

It’s a great place right in front of the beach, very comfortable and cozy apartment if you are looking for quiet and still within minutes of restaurants or towns like Canoa its the perfect place. And the host Marshall is great a very nice guy and will give very good recommendations and nice to chat with. His is always making improvements to his property together with a local family that helps him. Thank you for the hospitality.
