We were looking for something other than the usual booking-dot-com traps and found it at this rustic and beautiful cacao farm. Great welcome by Juliana and Antonia. We made our own chocolate, saw tamarind monkeys with a local guide, and rode horses brazililan style. A real little adventure!

We stayed two nights at the house and would have loved to stay longer. Very beautiful place surrounded by nature - in the mornings the birds are chirping and at sunset the light and colors in the sky above the forest are incredible vibrant. The house itself is very nice - Juliana has a great eye for decorations. The kitchen is fully equipped and the beds very comfortable. To top it all off, Juliana organized a trip with Bila, a incredible knowledgeable guide from a local NGO to a family of small monkeys, Golden-headed lion tamarins, living in the cocoa forests around the Fazenda. Great experience to see those little monkeys forage and play in the canopy. Very recommended to stay there relax and see the great nature around.

This place is one of a million. Unique, historical and very beautiful . This old Fazenda has a soul and its very peaceful. We spend a lovely week at the Fazenda and we would love to do it every now and then. Juliana is the best host you can wish for. Antonia and Christina we wouldn’t know what to do without them. 100% recommendation! Book it:)

A Fazenda Almada e suas acomodações são uma experiência incrível para quem curte natureza, história, conforto e diversidade de atividades! Juliana e todos os seus colaboradores são pessoas extremamente gentis! Acompanhamos a retirada do leite fresco das vaquinhas, andamos de cavalo, fizemos trilhas em meio as plantações de cacau em plena Mata Atlântica com árvores centenárias, observamos várias espécies de pássaros e contemplamos o céu estrelado. Nossas crianças simplesmente amaram! Se sentiram super a vontade para brincar dentro e fora da casa. A infraestrutura da acomodação é ótima. Ampla, arejada, com decoração colonial de ótimo gosto . Enfim...mesmo sendo moradora da região, me senti muito surpreendida com a beleza cênica e atmosfera deste lugar🌱💚
