The place was very pretty and homey, and the view was great. It was nice to hang out in the balcony. Going into the garage/front of the house can be awkward especially if you have a big car. Street parking might be better. One concern was the bathroom door in the loft. It's a sliding door, and it kept opening. It doesn't fully close and it is bothersome to align just to keep it closed. Sometimes, it would randomly open while I was in the shower or using the toilet. It might've been better to just put a curtain. Another concern was the garbage. We had to take the garbage and recycle with us. Good thing we brought three cars or we would not have a space for our garbage and recycle. Not very great if you're coming from a far place. I paid a lot for the cleaning and service fee. The garbage and recycling should have been included.

Beautiful place to stay! Really nice cabin, had a great Christmas vacation there. Host was responsive and gave us privacy during the stay.

Great for groups. Great location. Quiet, convenient to surrounding trails and town. House is spacious and there is plenty of room in the living room for everyone etc. Some other things worth noting. The main bedroom is actually in the loft and as such, has no door but a large opening. We received a document the day before checkin with clear and complete checkin/checkout instructions, house rules & recommendations. Worth noting there was a couple of things in document/house that are not on the listing description. 1) The host has quite a few personal belongings in the house. Clothing in closets, shoes by doorways & food in cabinets and refrigerator etc. We were told there was a shelf in the fridge cleared for us. Needless to say, this was a little tight for a group of guys. 2) It is asked that guests take trash with them upon checkout. 3) Unclear if they all work but there are a lot of cameras outside, including one on the deck that can see the lounging area and likely into the kitchen.

Came as a group for mountain biking and it was pretty much right at the base of the Alice Lake Trail System. Gorgeous cabin architecture with a massive view of the surrounding mountains. Comfortable beds too!
