Norma Was nice and responsive . I didn’t get the house I booked. The next house i stayed in needs a little maintenance. If you don’t like like little creatures (bugs) this isn’t the place. The A/C is very dirty so if you don’t want to get sick then don’t use it. The house was not all bad just needs maintenance though.

Beautiful house in a very beautiful neighborhood. Great location on the island close to everything you'll need. House was vary spacious with plenty of room all over. The hosts were very friendly and responsive.

Great place to stay! It is the entire lower part of the home, someone else lives upstairs. Very friendly and assisted with any needs we had! Beautiful neighborhood! Easy drive to all things on the island! Will stay there again!

Norma's place feels like it's mid-island and is about 15 minutes from Christiansted and about 20-25 minutes to Fredericksted. It's right in the Sunny Isles area and the area is beautiful, located in a residential neighborhood, which makes it nice to feel like you're getting a real piece of what being a resident looks like. The space was spacious and I really liked that the bedrooms were on opposite sides of the home because it just made it feel all that more private to me. Pros: -The movie theater is like 2 minutes from her house. -Plaza East (groceries), Kmart, several fast food places, a few roadside bars (my favorite is Carlos's), gas station and convenience all about a 5-minute drive. -They have a vacuum and it came in handy with the bugs, sand and just liking to keep my OCD personality happy. -Very large living space! Definitely do not feel like you were on top of people here. -Love that the bedrooms are at the opposite ends of the house because I came with my parents and it’s nice to have privacy. -Each bedroom has its own bathroom inside of it, en suite, and that actually is really nice. -King bed in the master bedroom queen bed in the second bedroom. -Air-conditioning in both bedrooms works very well. Cons: -In the kitchen the cord for the toaster oven and microwave isn't long enough so it makes both of those sit in weird placement areas and takes up the entire kitchen couner which makes it hard to do any kind of cooking. -Furniture in second bedroom is set up where there is nothing by either side of the bed to be able to put anything next to you like phone charger, water, lipgloss, etc. I feel it could and should be arranged differently but in the manual it specifcally states to not move the furniture around. -No air conditioning within the living space of the house and while this was ok for us in February, I would never have been able to handle it in the hotter months, like March through October-ish. -Very small shower in second bedroom but it does the job. -There is no hairdryer and that turned out to be very inconvenient. -The water in the guest bathroom only heats up long enough for me to put shampoo in and starts cooling down before I can even rinse it all the way out. My hair isn't even to my shoulders and I would say it lasts less than 2 minutes, even though they handyman came the first night and actually had to turn on the hot water. This is my sixth trip here and I’ve stayed all over the island and this is a great location. The movie theater so close is very convenient as my parents don’t drink so bars late night isn't an activity for them but movies is! I would receommend staying here for all of the pros and I even think I would stay again despite the cons except for the hot water issue. That's just too much of something I need on a trip. Norma, the woman who lives abover her and the handyman, are all very nice and communication was lightening speed fast on eveything. She tries hard to make your arrival and stay a comfortable one and it's nice to also have a dedicated parking spot for your vehicle.
