Playa Bonita is a quiet residential area with private homes and small hotels. It's close to the charming and lively village of Las Terrenas, but far enough to be truly out in nature. You can have a wonderful beach walk from Playa Bonita until Playa Cosón. It's a 30-60 minutes’ walk, depending to which place you go. If you are a surfer or would like to become one, at Playa Bonita the waves are normally very good, especially during the winter months. On the way to Playa Cosón you pass Punta Bonita (10-15 minutes’ walk). It’s the place where Playa Bonita ends and Playa Cosón starts. You can see both beaches from this point and have a wonderful swim in the turquoise ocean.
Las Terrenas is a small fisherman town on the Samaná Peninsula, in the northeastern part of the Dominican Republic. It's known for its fine dining restaurants, bars, shops and French bakeries.

You can get to the village by taxi or motorbike-taxi or rent a car, motorbike or 4-wheel quad. The rented vehicles are delivered to the house. We are happy to help with organized excursion such as whale watching (jan-march only) jeep safaris, national park los Haitises by boat, coffee and cacao fields by squad, fishing, diving, etc.
