Lainy's bach at Whiritoa is a great place to stay with family. Short walk to the beach which has a steep drop off so great for surfing, body boarding and surf casting. There is an estuary at the northern end which is safe place for children to swim and play in. We made good use of the tennis court and skate boarding ramp. The blow hole at the southern end of the beach is fun and the walk to secluded Waimama Bay is well worth while. The bach has everything you need and is a relaxing place to stay. Whiritoa still has the quiet, laid back feel of New Zealand of past days. Highly recommended.

A very comfortable and spacious house in a lovely location. We had a great time, especially our 3-year-old grandson who enjoyed playing with the toys.
