My husband and I really loved the little cottage overlooking the vineyard and Serra D'Ossa mountain range. It's perfect for two people, tastefully but simply decorated and contains all the amenities you need. You will absolutely need a car or bike as walking into the town center is just under 30 minutes and a little tough at night. Bring bug spray/repellent with you. The screens on the windows have gaps which allows mosquitoes in and they are hungry! We learned our lesson after one night. Overall, the cottage was lovely, Carla was very friendly and helpful. We happened to be in town for the Cheese Market which was wonderful and tasty. The Aldeia is beautiful, easy to visit other parts of the Altentejo from there, and has some unbeatable views! Highly recommend!
Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön! Die Unterkunft liegt super für Erkundungen im Alentejo und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Das Cottage ist mit allem notwendigen mit liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Nur die Mücken haben uns das Leben zur Hölle gemacht und die Ameisen haben eine Straße durch das Häuschen. Dennoch eine klare Weiterempfehlung!
Pequena aldeia super cativa. Tivemos o prazer de ficar no alojamento Padaria e foi espectacular. Super acolher e aconchegante. O Sr. Salvador super prestável e a sra. Carla muito simpática e acessível. Tão bom receber o pãozinho quentinho logo pela manhã. um bem haja a todos
Een erg mooie plek op een heuvel tussen de wijngaarden. In een heel klein verlaten dorpje met mooi opgeknapte huisjes. En genoeg bezienswaardigheden vlakbij voor het geval je toch er op uit wil.

Com as suas origens no século XVI, a Aldeia de São Gregório é um oásis no meio do Alentejo, numa paisagem impar rodeada de vinhas e oliveiras centenárias. Está situada num outeiro, tendo a Serra D´Ossa como pano de fundo e é o ponto de partida ideal para visitar as históricas cidades e vilas circundantes tais como Évora, Estremoz, Borba, Vila Viçosa e Monsaraz ou qualquer um dos emblemáticos castelos e fortalezas da região. Outras atividades propicias para quem visitar a Aldeia são o enoturismo, caminhadas, ciclismo, observação de aves, observação de estrelas, ou apenas deixar-se estar e absorver e conhecer os sabores e saberes da vida alentejana. Depois de um dia de passeios ou outras atividades, nada melhor do que voltar e poder refrescar-se na piscina da Aldeia e descansar ao sol ou à sombra das árvores do jardim que a envolve.
