Welcome to the Bird House at Timber Lake! This third story private apartment in a large tavern brings Cape Cod coziness to the heart of Virginia. The space features one full bed, a futon, a private bathroom, a kitchenette, and a smartTV so you can log on to the streaming network of your choice. Your stay also includes lake access on our private dock. The downstairs of the tavern is a functioning event space, but when we don't have events happening, we rent it out on its own so that more people can enjoy it. There are two apartments in the upstairs that may be rented during your stay, so you could pass other guests in the parking lot, the shared second story balcony, or on the dock at the lake. The Bird House is a studio style apartment with a full bathroom, double bed, and futon for additional sleeping. The kitchenette is equipped with a sink, full refrigerator, microwave, Keurig, and dishes. Please note, it does not have an oven. If you’re staying did an extended period and are interested in a toaster or hot plate, please ask and we may be able to provide them for you. Amenities include the use of the Tavern's private dock, kayak, and canoe. Hydrobike and sailboat rentals or sunset pontoon boat cruises with Captain Etta are available for an additional fee (message us for details).
