Welcome to the Moose Cabin at Spruce Point Lodging. Nestled among Spruce trees on 4 acres this is the place to be if you wish to have the authentic Alaska experience. From your nearly 550 Sq ft deluxe cabin you may encounter moose, black bear, snowshoe hare, ermine, and even see a bald eagle. If you are really lucky you may glimpse a pair of mated merlin playing in the trees. A 5 minute drive to the beach with your picnic basket or 6 minutes to the Anchor River for fly, lure or bait fishing. Upon arrival to your cabin you enter thru the front porch, Inside prepared to be awed with the hand crafted vaulted wood ceiling and the soaring loft with a handcrafted spruce staircase. The loft contains a double bed as well as a twin XL. The owner made the beautiful blue pine armoire/wardrobe that will keep all your stuff neat and tidy. On the entry level there is a full kitchen with a cooktop and oven as well as a fridge, microwave, double stainless deep sink and cabinets containing pots and pans, dishes, glassware and utensils. The main level also is where you will find a contemporary bathroom with a 4' stall shower. Check out the handmade hinged mirror. There is also a dining area with seating for 4 as well as a full size futon. Stay entertained in the evenings with the 44" HD Smart TV and a sound system and a blue ray DVD player. You will be nice and cozy with propane heat as well as the awesome wood stove. Lots of hot water with on demand.
