To be clear, this is not a negative review aimed at Rebekka (Interhome) - The communication and help received from Rebekka has been appreciated. Unfortunately the property that we visited in Miami Platja, managed by the local Interhome office was not up to standard and we were in a position where we had to request a refund. The property was ok as a base and the area itself was very nice, but several upgrades would required to the property before it would be considered a fair representation of what was advertised on the listing. Again, to be fair and honest, some of these issues were resolved whilst we were on holiday, however we did get to a point half way through the holiday where we were fed up of having to contact the office, having technicians interrupting our stay, and we just wanted to get on with our holiday. The Interhome welcome documentation states: “Interhome believe in quality and service. We have checked your property carefully.” Unfortunately this did not seem evident in our experience; below is a list of issues that we encountered: Power constantly tripping when using oven or dishwasher, lack of hot water, lack of WiFi connection, filthy kitchenware, broken drawers, faulty heater, missing light bulbs, non-sealing shower screen which led to the bathroom floor flooding and no mop provided, chairs with missing legs (leading to an accident for my 8 y/o daughter), uncomfortable beds. This is a condensed explanation of the problems we had, but I don't really feel it relevant to delve further into them here. Would I use Interhome again? I'm not sure. I have been assured by Rebekka that all of the comments and feedback have been helpful so that they can continue to improve their quality control, and that the feedback has also been passed onto the property owner. Unfortunately, nobody wants to have to deal with these sort of issues when they are on holiday trying to relax, and for that reason my confidence in booking with Interhome again has undoubtedly been knocked.
