Our Farmstay Airbnb adventure was a real "ewe-nique" experience, and it wouldn't have been the same without Paul, our fantastic host. From the moment we arrived, Paul made us feel like part of his farm family. We started our days with the charming "sheep alarm clock" and spent our time enjoying the farm's tranquility. Paul was more than happy to include the kids in sheep farming activities, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Nights were pure magic as we lay under the twinkling stars, sharing stories and spotting constellations. With no WiFi or phone signal, we rediscovered the joy of real family time, which often led to heated arguments over a game of Snakes and Ladders. It was a hilarious, disconnected, and wonderfully chaotic getaway, made all the more memorable by Paul's hospitality. We loved our stay so much that my dog has requested we make it a regular visit! Loved waking up to the sheep baa-ing and birdsong, and the house has everything we needed. It's easy enough to get to but I had no phone signal at all from about 45 mins from the property so maybe just be mindful you have your maps already sorted as you may not be able to check closer to the house. Perfect spot if you have a dog as the house itself is gated with a nice yard space. Bring some music and some board games! My only critique is that as we were checking out, there was a random dog sniffing around the house and my dog can be reactive (fearful not aggression). I managed to keep her occupied so she didn't notice , but I would've liked if they had waited until we left or just alerted us to another dog being off leash within the immediate house grounds. Other than that, some new dishcloths wouldn't go astray, but overall this was a pleasant trip and a lovely peaceful property. We will be back!

Beautiful farmhouse with multiple bedrooms and fair sized living space. Kept extremely clean for a farmhouse - didn’t see a single insect. Limited reception on property so a good chance to switch off. The area is cold in winter so although the house has heating and electric blankets, pack warm for the cool evenings/mornings. Small staples like salt, pepper and oil would be useful if supplied - bring your own if you plan to cook. Tra, coffee and sugar were provided. Paul was extremely helpful and we knew we could either call or walk to his if we had questions.
